If the plastic detent call causes issues in the future, it could easily be replaced. They hold zero on my ARs and have a nice look to them. The last set of BUIS I had wouldn't zero in properly, especially at 25 yards. I purchased this red dot about 2 weeks ago. I don't know how they would react to heavy recoil but I assume they would do good. The reviews on You Tube for the Reflex sight are all good so i expect no problems. Small flat-head screwdriver for windage and elevation adjustments.
