1. Danner Pronghorn 8in GTX Uninsulated-M Danner Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"Most seams are triple stitched."

Will updated when the upcoming season is over Traction is awesome did not slip traversing down hill or up. The only part of me that was dry and warm were my feet. Good for hunting, going to the range, and every day wear. The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned.

"Perhaps they will loosen up."

These boots are great, comfortable, warm without being hot. They are extremely lightweight and very comfortable. I read the other reviews and these do run small. They are comfortable all day of a 15 hour day. Fit: This is my first pair of Danner boots.

3. Danner Pronghorn Realtree Xtra 1200G-M Danner Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"Most seams are triple stitched."

There’s nothing to dislike about this boot. I live in the tropics and hunt doves in the summer. They were listed as returned and used a couple of times. I think they will keep your feet very warm in cold weather. Mink oil / leather honey restores them right up.

6. Danner Canadian 600 Gram Danner Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"Why didn't I buy these before!"

Comfortable soft lug soles and uppers provide good support. I jumped into them and plowed the driveway on the quad. 5 EE in shoes, and with boots, I can typically fit into a10. I have better traction and so much more shock absorbency. The Danner boots were very snug to my legs.

Editor's Impressions

"This boot by Danner is AWESOME!"

I have bought 2 more for when the original wears completely. Fits true to size from the way it seems to him. Hey, these boots even smell great right out of the box! Your feet will have plenty of room but order your size. This could also just be that they aren't broken in yet.

However, I have almost 40 miles on them in the worst conditions. I typically wear size 9 to 9-1/2 and bought size 10. Very comfortable and not too heavy to wear. I got them a size bigger for heavy socks when it gets cold. I just kept that boot loose for a few days.

Editor's Impressions

"Lots of support and comfortable."

Depending on what you are doing the weight may be fine. I typically wear size 9 to 9-1/2 and bought size 10. If you're more than a 2E I would upsize by 1 full size in 2E. I have better traction and so much more shock absorbency. I think that I will even go with different laces too.
