1. Rocky FQ0005454 Hiking Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"I like the bottoms as well."

It wasn’t a show stopper but I could tell a difference. My feet were comfortable, dry and happy the whole time. Wear all day on our ranch, working the landscape, mowing, etc. My SO is thrilled with these for winter working! The boots held great, no leaks and extremely warm.

2. Rocky Sport Utility Eight Inch Brown-M Hiking Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"Just a couple of nit picks."

Most of the reviews said that these boots run a little big. Bought these for my husband who spends time hunting. Fit as expected and appear to be well made. I purchased a 12D and they seem to fit as other 12 Ds have. Mink oil / leather honey restores them right up.

3. Kamik NationCamo-M Hiking Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"I'd buy again in a heartbeat."

I have bought 2 more for when the original wears completely. My husband loves them perfect for his work outside. I expect to remove it eventually before they need replacing. I hunt all 45 days of Alabama's season so they are well tested. All in all, I'd say I am satisfied with the purchase thus far.

Editor's Impressions

"It was great to have warm toes."

They were more comfortable than my Rocky. 5 and the length was perfect and what I would expect. Boots are well made and have good solid construction. I have better traction and so much more shock absorbency. Overall, these boots will last for many years.

"My husband loves these boots!"

Most comfortable boot I have worn in a long time. Just what I need to walk around on the ranch. The only part of me that was dry and warm were my feet. I purchased a 12D and they seem to fit as other 12 Ds have. It grips well in wet or dry and is incredibly warm.

"Perfect for this style of boot."

Depending on what you are doing the weight may be fine. I typically wear size 9 to 9-1/2 and bought size 10. This is a good looking boot pictures online depict it well. They do take about a week to break in though. The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned.

10. WOLVERINE Claw Insulated Waterproof Comp Toe-M Hiking Hunting Boot

Editor's Impressions

"Took about 2 weeks to break in."

However, I have almost 40 miles on them in the worst conditions. Toe box is rather large, but my foot did not chafe around. I would say my foot is average to slightly wide. Still wear them and like them, and will continue to buy. I live in Wyoming where the country is rough.
