"No chafing that I could tell."They are darker in color but still a very nice pair of boots. I jumped into them and plowed the driveway on the quad. Fit high enough to protect me from knees down. The boots I am replacing lasted 4 years of hard wear and tear. Fit: This is my first pair of Bogs boots.

I would have no problem in making a recommendation to a friend. Came home, found them on Amazon and the rest is history. Fit: This is my first pair of Bogs boots.
