"It's still a fine bow."Just don't be afraid stringing it, look up a video if you will. Don't worry you don't actually need it. I do think I should have ordered a 30 lb. The riser is black enamel painted birch and has a good feel and balance to it. Good starter bow for beginner archer. The arrows were all true and I had no problems with the assembly and stringing. The potato in the middle was my intended target.

"OK OK OK OK."Great bow and arrow set for the price. The step-through method works if you do it right and don't torque the bow. Great bow and arrow set for the price. My own experience says that it will. Absolutely great value for the price. You can spend the extra couple of bucks for a good string. It's easy to put together and a great kit.
