"No chafing that I could tell."These are my husbands favorite outside work shoe. They are extremely lightweight and very comfortable. Takes the rigors of upland hunting without breaking a sweat. No problem breaking them in, they are nice and dry and warm. The boots held great, no leaks and extremely warm.

"They slip on and off SO EASY!"I would say the Rocky are a bit more comfortable. There was very little break in time and they look great. The only part of me that was dry and warm were my feet. Your feet will have plenty of room but order your size. I wore them around the house for an hour to see how they felt.
